Description

This granola takes easily 30 min to produce from beginning to end. And with the Vanilla Almond flavoring mixed with Chia seeds and oatmeal, your family will never ask for store bought again!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 and 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup sliced almonds*
  • 2 Tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl
  3. Mix wet ingredients in small bowl
  4. Combine them!
  5. Spread onto parchment paper and bake for 20 min or until toasty. **

Notes

* I use Honey Roasted Slivered Almonds from TJ’s and my people LOVE it. They seem to add that extra granola grand slam.

** I ‘flip’ my granola half way through ONCE.  I then pack it together so it will bake and be chunky! Once toasty, take out of the oven and let cool…DON’T touch it or it won’t be chunky. Or, if you don’t particularly care for chunks then stir it!
