A HEALTHIER candied pecan made with pecans + egg white + maple syrup + honey + vanilla + salt. No refined sugar necessary!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups pecans
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix wet ingredients in a bowl
- Add pecans and mix
- Spread onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 1 hour, flipping halfway through
Notes
* Yes, there will be extra sugary syrup, just stir halfway through and it will be absorbed
